I'm a female I begin using Kirkland Monoxildil in June,12 after a bad case of folliculitis that cause my hair to fall out. I went to my dermatogist and he advised me to use Rogaine and I asked him should it be the 2% he said no use the 5% strength that men uses it will make more sense, he tells all his female patients that because it will grow the hair faster than the 2%. So I knew how expensive Rogaine was so I started surfing the net and came across this product from Amazon and I ordered the 12 mths. pack. Now here it is Oct.12 and I can truly say that my hair is growing back and has thickened so much. I read where others speak about the itching it may cause, its because your hair follicles is comming out of its dormant state and your hair is growing,but of course if the itching is intense by all means do whatever it takes to relieve the itching.

I don't know why they says that women should'nt use the 5% it does'nt bother me @ all, and my hair is steadily growing and thickening up and i'm very pleased and I appreciates my doctor's advice. I'm 58 so I guess I will be using this Kirkland product for the rest of my life.

Oh,and by the way it does grows your hair all over your head too! And it is more reasonably priced than Rogaine.
